Ellen McLoughlin

Associate

Ellen has a vast amount of experience working with decision makers and is driven to make positive change through her work.

Having spent the last decade working in the offices of MPs and Senators, Ellen has been in the room when organisations pitch to decision makers – she understands the preparation needed to make these meetings effective for all sides involved.

Ellen’s time working in politics focused on community engagement and campaigns. An empathetic approach to her work means Ellen identifies trends and points of connection across the community, allowing for national campaigns to be told through local stories.

Having held board positions on feminist organisations, Ellen understands the dual demands of delivering services and advocating for change at a structural level.

Prior to working in politics, Ellen worked in the community sector and union movement.
