Camilo Lopez is a Brisbane-based arts leader and advocate with a proven track record in strategic marketing, administration, and cultural entrepreneurship.

At just 22, Camilo co-founded Voxalis Opera, where he continues to serve as Artistic Director. Under his leadership, the company has become a vital force in Brisbane’s cultural landscape, recognised for its bold programming, community impact, and forward-thinking approach. His work at Voxalis showcases his entrepreneurial mindset, strategic planning skills, and commitment to accessible, high-quality arts experiences.

Previously, Camilo was Marketing Manager for the Southern Cross Soloists, one of Australia’s premier classical music ensembles. He is also the creator of Aus.Opera, a digital platform dedicated to building national engagement with opera.

Camilo holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music Studies (Opera Performance) with Distinction from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
